Have you eaten at Fratelli’s Ristorante Italiano yet? Owners Joe Bowman and Brian Covel completely transformed a dismal basement commercial space into a beautiful, casual, fine dining destination.
Fitch Architecture and Community Design enjoyed helping Joe and Brian develop a functional kitchen and cozy dining room layout. And then of course, we had our annual office dinner there!
The atmosphere might be called “contemporary rathskeller” as the cleaned and restored brick archways and stone foundations are reminiscent of an old wine cellar. White linen and faux wood flooring add just the right touch of class and warmth to a subtle color scheme. A new bar literally sparkles beyond the constraints of the archways.
If that is not enough, the Italian cuisine is delicious! What is not to love about this transformation in downtown Amherst!
